The STEP2 Controller is a fully featured EtherCAT master with CiA DS402 profile standardization for your robotic application. It measures 8x8 inches, and has an integrated C++ environment for developing and implementing motion control applications. Software and algorithms and can be fully developed using this system alone. This controller is similar to the Server S, but the STEP2 Controller has support for the CiA DS402 profile and additional communication ports.
